Unicom, a dynamic insurance intermediary specialising in motor trade and commercial insurance are currently looking for reliable, motivated and experienced sales staff.

Previous insurance experience would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be given on how to accurately assess insurance risks and calculate quotations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to utilise their previous sales techniques once they have obtained the necessary technical knowledge. The combining of both skills enables individuals to find a career that challenges their sales and negotiation skills as well as their technical ability.
Sales will be performance on warm leads, all of which are incoming calls so there is no cold calling.
Duties will include:-
Ensuring that quotations are accurately saved onto our systems.
To liaise with customers in respect of general queries.
To liaise with the Insurance Company on any issue outside of our delegated authority.
To chase the client and encourage them to incept on all allocated quotes.
To create and build relationships with existing customers/agents to promote business development.
Regular contact with other departments such as Admin, Underwriting, Claims, Credit Control and Accounts. Giving the successful applicant an insight and understanding in other aspects of insurance.
The candidate will be required to ensure a professional impression is always portrayed when in contact with clients and Insurers. Commitment, teamwork and customer-service skills are vital.
We will be carrying out telephone interviews for prospective candidates.
The office hours are 8.45am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with one Saturday in every three being a requirement from 9.30 – 1pm.
